Mikial Burnell Kelley, 63, of Paris, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Kelley, the son of Luverne Samuel & Clara Christine Powers Kelley, was born Aug. 28, 1944, in Gladewater. He graduated from Tascosa High School in Amarillo. His mother & father owned & operated Kelley’s Bar-B-Q, and following the death of his father he returned to Paris to help manage the family business. He was an avid Ham radio operator & teacher, and was known by the call letters KM5SA.
